This class is focused directly at learning how to classify and record basic business transactions. It will include the essential information related to bookkeeping such as entering data into an account or register. You will learn what a chart of accounts is, as well as other basic accounting terms.
We will cover the records and reports that are created, what they mean and what you must hold onto for tax compliance. And finally we will discuss the types of accounting software products available for you to use.
